Character: Philip

Philip belongs to the Order of Strega- shepherds of the Mother Libraries, where all magic is born. Mother Libraries are giant tree libraries that birth magical tomes and are vital to Philip’s world. Much like how cities are built near sources of water, Mother Libraries are safe havens of life. After graduating, Philip is assigned to a Mother Library that has awakened from dormancy in the rural countryside. The resurgence of a Mother Library is a cause for celebration! However, tragic events turn the festival into a disaster that changes the course of Philip’s life forever.
